Miami Heat Sunrise Sport reviews
The game was Ok. The AA Arena staff is terrible!
This review is mostly not about the Heat. The game was fine, even though the Heat lost. But my whole experience was ruined from the beginning by a staff member who was extremely rude. On November 20, 2014 at 8pm (Miami Heat vs LA Clippers game) my friend and I entered section #323, where an old black woman was standing with her back towards us. Unfortunately I didn't write down her name. As the game was about to start, I wasn't sure why she was standing with her back towards us, so that we were not able to pass. I was going to ask her if she could show us the way to our seats, and instead without even looking at me she said to me in a very rude voice, as if to a dog: "Don't you dare to move!" I have never seen such rudeness in my life at any event! More people came and were waiting, and after about a minute she finally turned, and ignoring me completely, she took my friend's ticket, but probably didn't even bother to look at the seat number, and told my friend that she /my friend/ had to go through a different entrance /section next to ours/. When we went over there, a girl standing there said that we were supposed to go back to the original enrance /where the rude woman was/, because our seats were closer to that entrance. I go to events and concerts in large arenas quite often, and I have never been met with such rudeness and unprofessionalism! That was my first time going to a Miami Heat game, as well as the first time going to an American Airlines Arena event. I prefer music concerts, so Cruzan Amphitheatre is my usual choice. I'm not a huge sports fan, so I can live perfectly fine without going to any more of Miami Heat games. But I was so disgusted by the rude behavior of the staff that I will never go to any music event at the American Airlines Arena as well. And I will never recommend anybody I know to go there either.
